Rachel & I worked on this together in Corporate Branding. It is a re branding of an fictional company.

We were given a ceo letter stating what they wanted for their brand and we then designed the materials they asked for.

first flash project

we were given the assignment to create a vector illustration using adobe flash. We were to choose an object to copy. I chose this Elvis Stitch figurine to recreate… I am VERY happy with the end result…and flash is growing on me…Let me know what you think!!

I like playing in the rain :-)

out of context photography assignment

In my digital photography class, we had an assignment to capture some photographs that were out of context. In other words, we had to create something that the viewer didn’t know what original object was.

I took my collander…yes, it’s pink, and set it on my desk lamp.

It created a neat pattern with the light coming out of the holes so I figured it would make an interesting photo. I placed different color scrapbooking papers underneath to create different images.

Logos & Symbols-personal branding logo

For logos & symbols, we were given the task to create a personal logo describing ourselves. I chose to make a pair of scissors out of a paintbrush and a pencil for my love of crafts and any medium of art.

We started with 6 pages of pre-production thumbnail sketches and then turned to Adobe Illustrator to create a clean, black and white version. Our next step was to create a 3D sculpture using Sculpey clay to mold it.
